So I my dear friend needle Orietta we organized a nice trip on the Brenta and precisely where they were exposed to the Villa Widmann some of Robert Sperandio quilt along with others made by the group "The sun of patchwork .
Of course, words can not describe the emotions I went through looking at the works on display, but I try the same.
I find the quilt transmit the patience of the hands that stitched them,
the wonder of the eyes involved in the search for your favorite colors, the cheerful
puzzles of the mind to invent the ideal geometry to enhance tissue
the heat of the heart when they become valuable gifts for someone we love,
and
the satisfaction of having created something that speaks to us with a different language, profound and inexplicable.
